Navigating our Site

Navigating our site is simple. While there are many ways to navigate the site we have designe two main methods of navigation that you should be aware of.

Navigation Menus

Just taking a quick glance at the homepage you will notice the top and side menus. These menus will persist throughout the site and will help you drill down to the section you are looking for. As you surf through the site you will observe that the top and side menus generally mirror one another, this remains until you reach a specific product department (i.e. Jewelry or Stationery). Once you have entered a department section of the site the side navigation will become more focused. At the department level (i.e. Jewelry) the side menu will only contain links within the department, but the top menu is still easily available for site wide surfing.

Breadcrumb Trail

Another method of navigating our site is focused on find your way back to a desired page. We have addressed this need by using the "Breadcrumb Trail" directly under the top navigation bar. Just take a look at the series of links under the top navigation on this page. This is called a "Breadcrumb Trail" because it leaves behind links of where the current page is located. The first link will always be the homepage and as you drill down into the site the Breadcrumb Trail shows you were you are. This method of navigation can be very helpful for finding your way out of a section.
